Nottingham’s most prolific underground Hip Hop artist, Cappo is probably your favourite rapper’s favourite rapper. His debut album ‘Spaz The World’ (Zebra Traffic) in 2003 set the young MC apart from his peers; with a gravel-pit vocal tone and solid-steel rhyme structures reminiscent of the Golden Era greats.

Now a veteran in his own right, Cappo’s discography runs in to the hundreds; collaborating with artists as diverse as The Herbaliser and Mad Doctor X, while flying the flag for Notts with his crew VVV – alongside co-conspirators Juga-Naut and Vandal Savage.

Flying high from recent collaborations with Sam Zircon, Jazz T & Zygote and ex-Phi Life Cypher DJ and producer Nappa, 2016 looks set to mark a ‘Dramatic Change Of Fortune’ for the Imperial Grand; with his latest long-player co-signed by Jehst and set to drop on YNR Productions.
